Introduction to RSS Subscription
If you take a look at the upper right side of our website, you will see a button with a label "Subscribe to RSS". For those who are already familiar about feed subscription, then we definitely encourage you to subscribe to ours. As for those who are not familiar with RSS subscription yet, please read on to know more about it.
First, RSS means Really Simple Syndication and it is a very useful Internet application. With it, you can easily get your hands on the news and information important to you. It is called "really simple" because the format in which the feeds (list of news) are delivered to you is quiet uncomplicated. You can see headlines right away and you can then easily read contents by clicking those headlines.
To demonstrate how this works, say you click on our site's RSS button. You will then be asked what RSS reader or aggregator you would want to use. The readers or aggregators are where you can view the feeds and you need to register to one. Do not worry, most of them are free. Once you have chosen, you then click "Subscribe". So now, every time there is new information on our website, the contents will then be delivered to your reader. This saves you the trouble of having to check our site all the time to see if there are new things going on. Now say you have subscribed to lots of websites' RSS feeds. Being able to view all important news in just one page (on your reader) really makes it convenient, does it not?
